Stunning GT HD Screenshots

The recently released free racing sim Gran Turismo HD on the PS3 looks nothing less than spectacular. There are high-res textures, motion-blur and very detailed shadows. Just imagine how Gran Turismo 5 will look when it comes out. More screens after the jump.

I no longer believe ANY of Sonys beta pics or animations, they now have a long proven track record of dummy demos, not created on their hardware at all, mainly PC Maya animations.

the gfx look better than the alan wake or something screenshots, is the ps3 really capable of visuals like that, looks better than dx10.

Every one of those people must be animated, otherwise I’m dissapointed.

monir r u retarded?? i mean how do u think that is better than dx10 u havent really seen dx10 games yet.If its so much better than y cant crysis run on consoles”to weak”

crysis might be able to run on the ps3 or 360, i haven’t seen any dx10 screenshots in a very long time so i guess i was mistaken (just looked at the alan wake screens now) and they do look bloody amazing compared to these. no need to be an ass-bandit about it though.

Well if these are in game screenies then I am very impressed … and yes visually nothing atm compares to Alan Wake … that is when I plan on upgrading to a quad core based system … then one day of course I must have 16 cores at my disposal. The 360 won’t be able to match a PC with Vista (as only parts of the gfx API use DX10 APIs) and four or more cores but Crysis and Alan Wake could still be very good on it. But if the devs can really master the Cell cpu with it’s 6 (or 7?) usable cores then perhaps it can come closest to matching what an Ultra PC will be able to do as far as CPU power goes … of course though GPUs will continue to improve on PCs and even PPUs should improve as they become more mainstream.

I was joking.
