Sony has released Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection on the PlayStation Store, basically an update of Tekken 5, now supporting 1080p, new characters and a new game mode. The game weighs in at 830 MB, and costs 2,000 Yen, or $17. However, it’s only available in Japan and Hong Kong at the moment. The game features the new Ghost Battle mode, in addition to Arcade Battle and a Versus Mode (offline).

830 MB, while MS still has the 50 BM limit on the Xbox 360, for those without the hard drive. How many 360 owners don’t have a hard drive? I don’t know anyone…

Sony can challenge MS with full games, while MS only has the stupid Live Arcade crap. I’ve had my 360 for a year and haven’t played or bought one Arcade game.

Haha, ‘Ghost Mode’, is the crappy ‘online’ mode from the PSP version, where you ‘record’ a fight and send your ‘recording’ to another player to play offline… it sucks the big one.

This does sound like some good news for PS3 owners…if you don’t already own Tekken 5 for the PS2. Then again, PS2 graphics + PS3 = Ew. You’re pretty much forced to purchase this.

I’d rather play Gran Turismo HD

if I was to get a Ps3 it would be for just that, Tekken it’s my favorite fighting game in this day and age. The storyline is one of the best ive seen. This would hold me over untill Tekken 6 comes out oh and resistance. I still will wait untill more games are made since I still enjoy my Ps2. Hell I still have alot of games that I never beat
