Soldner 2 Announced

German publisher JoWood released a press statement announcing Soldner 2. The game is developed by the newly founded gEasy Development, and is expected to be released in late 2007. The original Soldner game has brought some interesting innovations to a multiplayer shooter, but was completely overwhelmed by severe gameplay and control problems. Hopefully Soldner 2 will be more a polished title, and actaully fun to play.

Soldner utterly sucked, failed on evey aspect. The developer behind it even went bankrupt because of catastrophic sales. To even call another game “Soldner” (lame name, anyway) will guarantee faliure.

clearly, you haven’t checked soldner atm, it’s owning hard, no more bugs etc… soldner > bf 2

LOL, It’s still full of bugs and many problems still there that plagued the game from day one.

Great concept , poor execution on Soldner. Code just didn’t work. Devs should develop a game for high end PC’s that are Vista based . True PC gamers are dying for a game that offers good gameplay . Again a huge untapped market that could be highly profitible. A warning though , adapting or formulating to be sold on consoles will doom you , as well as making it accessible an overly large market. If you make a great game people will upgrade to get to it.

Lots of bugs when first started, but all fixed now with patches. still have yet to find a FPS better than this for gameplay… graphics need updating with next cards..
