Iwata is the brain. Reggie is pretty cool though

Reggie can’t win, this is Japan only. But he’s cool, although he doesn’t create anything, Iwata is the father of the DS. Reggie is just the PR guy with all the smooth-taking.

Iwata is the biggest reason Nintendo is doing so good, they pack a great team, him and Shiggy.

Well deserved is an understatement … the man ruled 2006 and this was just icing on the cake. Good going making gamers of all skill levels and former non gamers alike happy and raising the share prices for your shareholders.

How did Ken Kutaragi get second place for doing everything wrong?

“How did Ken Kutaragi get second place for doing everything wrong?” The award was for who made the “greatest impact” on gaming, not necessarily for doing anything constructive. Kutaragi gets second place for managing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the console wars.

I think Kutaragi got the award just because he was actually able to ship the blu-ray, HDMI, Cell processor enhanced PS3 before the end of the year and it has proven to be pretty stable to be perfectly unbiased and honest … now Sony just needs to figure out a way to get it to sell well against it’s competitors.
