New PS3 Colors Coming (Unofficial)

Well, not from Sony, but you may have heard of or seen the white PS3 on eBay, which fetched a price of $1,425 on New Years Eve, at a time when most PS3’s were selling around the retail price. Seeing the positive reaction (read: profit) of his customized white PS3, maker Michal Berecki has announced his plans to work on a silver and red version.
The silver color will come out in the next few weeks with the red one following it. Sony has announced three color models of the PS3; black (the only one available now) silver, and white. I must say, if that red PS3 looks anything like that picture when it is finished, it might reach a record price on eBay.

I hadn’t thought of that. But it’s still cheaper to buy a PS3 in a store, and then paint brush it yourself. But someone paying $800 overprice obviously didn’t think so

Obvisouly the guy is a pro or has access to pro painting equipment. I doubt anyone could have made that white PS3 that good. But nevertheless, it’s probably cheaper than 800 bucks

The president of a company is far more than a spokesperson. I doubt they simply awarded him in Famitsu for being a spokesperson.

The fact that Hideo Kojima and Shigeru Miyamoto are on the Famitsu list prooves that it’s not about Presidents or Spokespersons etc.

Iwata still does game developing work for HAL. And I’m sure Miyamoto does more than PR and global leading.

Miyamoto have worked hard on the latest Zelda game, as well as a lot of other projects. Chech out the “Iwata asks” series. Then you can get a clearer image of what both Miyamoto and Iwata have been doing inside the walls of Nintendo the last couple of years

It’s a modded case, but a really great looking one! I want one to go with my black one. That’s what you call Eye Candy and reminds of a Red Ferrari.
Actually the PS3 is the Ferrari of consoles! Xbox 360 is the Ford (Fix Or Repair Daily) and the the Wii is the Daihatsu!

Seriously though, this post is just in fun and attempt to bring out the worst in the posters here. I actually don’t feel that way about the competition, and I’m just enjoying the hell out my PS3. Hoping everyone else is enjoying whatever game machime they have.
What made me post this, was I just finished picking up the Red Ferrari in GT-HD. That games is so awe inspiring and beautiful it blows your mind! The fact that it was free as a Christmas Gift from Polyphoni Digital, is amazing. This is one game I would love to see every console owner share in getting ready for GT-5! I have the newest Logitech Force Feedback wheel and a dedicated racing chair with a “Buttkicker” rumble transducer in it. With surround sound you would swear your actually driving. Amazing graphics!!! Absolutely amazing experience too!!!!!

Funny thing is right now the Daihatsu and the Ford are blowing the Ferrari away … all the Ferrari can do at this point is look good and that just isn’t enough. Seems like the gaming press isn’t convinced of its superiority at all … only fanboys who like to put down everyone and everything else not Sony seem to be going goo goo gah gah over the PS3. And again this is now and not the future so please don’t give us the we’ll see how well Nintendo and MS are doing in a year. They are not the ones with anything to prove. That is something Sony has to do and a colored case just isn’t proof of anything at all … it certainly isn’t going to make the games any better or win any awards. Something that MS and Nintendo are doing right NOW.

PS3 rules, better than the junkbox 360 anyday!! Microsoft can’t make anything right including vista, so why by their stupid ass consoles. Sony are the best and make the best products and because u ppl are poor and can’t afford one u just give crap about it!

WTH? Pink, purple and brown!? do you actually expect ANYONE to make a PS3 shell i those colours? the only way I could imagine that happening is you paying someone a LARGE sum of money, since you’re so rich. Or you could try to make one yourself with some paint and stuff.

though i do agree with you on the superiority of the PS3 over the Xbox and WII. those were my view before i realised how long i would have to wait before i could get one. First a HDTV(at least a year) then the ps3(at least 1 & 1/2 years) since i am 14 and have a very low salary (pocket money).

I dunno Anuban, Im smelling mad fan boy from u. To me the ps3 has its up and the 360 has its up an then they both have their downs. This is why I personally recommend the computer honestly. You know what ur getting, Most of the time it’s better quality and not chips shrunk.
I wish people would stop calling the 360 a junk box. It’s not like a ford, wtf? That system is worth up to a 2-3 k pc in parts, same with the ps3. The biggest flaw with the ps3 is that no developer wants to take the time to figure out the cell. If john carmack is having trouble doing it(the god of game engine’s creator) Im sure other companies are too.
I see the xbox360 winning in this one. It’s doom(popular but not many ppl bought the game.)DOOM 2 came out and boom 22 million copie’s sold on it’s first day. Yeah, both system’s overheat way way way to much. I’ve seen both the ps3 and the 360 crash on people playing them at gamestop.

The 360/PS3 are great machines. Taking that much high technology and sticking it into a console. Plus selling it for dirt cheap is amazing. You’re taking a computer basically, for 300-400 bucks. This thing =’s to a 2-3k PC. I think of it this way, u get 1 console. Then u have like 2600 left over to buy game’s. 2600/60 could get u 43 games.
Where as pc gamers, we spend that much on a machine then we have to start buying game’s. Console’s gamers dont realize how good they it :-). Also, Console gamers dont need to upgrade for year’s. Look at us pc gamers, the 8800 came out and now is outdated by 2 new chipsets coming out.
