Lost Planet Launch Event

lostplanetevent.jpgCapcom is having a Lost Planet launch event in San Francisco next Thursday, giving gamers an opportunity to play the game before it’s out, and to play against the development team as well. You can sign up for the event here (username: Genesis, password: 111). You have to be at least 18 years old however.

There will be a multiplayer tournament as well, with a first come, first serve participation. Capcom will give the first 50 who enter a free Lost Plant t-shirt.

    I would love to attend this if people that were also commentators on this site would go. That way I could meet people in person who like to run their mouths a lot and we could see if they would like to say those same things to me in person. ;)

    If anyone here is going to go please let me know … I don’t live that far away and it would be cool to meet and IF there are any differences or unresolved issues we have we could straighten them out there. This could be a fun event.

    They’re just trying to hype the game as much as they can at the moment. From what I’ve seen (and the demo I played) I’m not impressed, but I won’t judge until I’ve played the retail version and read a few reviews.
