Oblivion Expansion Revealed
January 4th, 2007 by Rajiv Ashrafi in News
Up until now, Bethesda was dabbling in small downloadable content for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. But all that is about to change: PC Zone’s latest issue features an exclusive on ‘Shivering Isles‘, the first expansion pack for Oblivion. According to the article, the add-on will offer 30-plus hours of gameplay, new quests, monsters, expanded freeform gameplay, as well as a new land. Expect the game to be released in the second quarter of 2007.

Is this coming to the 360 as well? Probably will, as well as it will probably be included in the retail version of Oblivion for the PS3. That’s gonna be one huge game, Obliovion, plus two “booster packs” plus another expansion. A good hundred hours of gameplay for PS3 owners.

Oh it definitely coming to the 360 … it was also reported on the TeamXbox site. Good news for people who have that kind of time on their hands and who are already in pretty decent shape … not fat and sloppy and unhealthy and who can afford to just sit on a couch for upwards of 8-10 hours at a time and then eat and go to bed without doing any excercises.

It’s not like I plan on getting it on the 360, I’ve spent at least 50-60 hours on the original Oblivion and didn’t finish it, far from.

Yeah I have only (lol) 16 hours in on Oblivion but I will probably get it just in case I ever do find some time to get more involved in RPGs. This is one RPG I really like … but then again Mass Effect is going to chew up huge chunks of my time as well and being set in the future as a Sci-Fi epic I know I will be waayy into that RPG/shooter.
