Gamers Charity Raises Over A Million
In totally awesome news, Penny Arcade creators Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik announced that Child’s Play Charity, a gamer-oriented charity program, has raised over $1 million in purchases and donations this year. The program, which is in its fourth year now, sees people donating money and gifts to be sent to children in select hospitals throughout the world, proving that gamers aren’t the mindless idiots some certain people imply.

This is great and is a good sign some people know where to place their priorities and what is really important. If you are even marginally well off and can donate to these kind of causes then you always should do just that so kudos to those people who cared enough about the kids to actually put their money where there gaming dollars are going to be of the most benefit.
