Konami Cancels PS3 And Wii Titles

According to the recent issue of Famitsu, Japanese developer/publisher Konami has cancelled several PS3 and Wii titles. The supposed list of cancelled games is as follows:
Gradius Series (PS3)
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball (PS3)
New Action Game (PS3)
New Role Playing Game (PS3)
New Action Adventure Game 2 (Wii)
Role Playing Game (Wii)
This will disappoint many people who wanted to see the non-descript “role playing game” on the Wii and PS3. However, there is still a range of games coming from Konami; A football and baseball game for the Wii, and of course, Metal Gear solid 4 for the PS3.

Not really worried about the two Wii games since the Wii is doing just fine … but if I was a PS3 loyalist then I would cringe over this news as I already said when I reported this on this thread (and it is actually 5 PS3 titles … Coded of Arm: Assault is missing … which is no small amount of games to just cancel):

Konami it would seem from this news no longer is all that interested in helping the PS3 really take off (and lets face it they need all the help they can get and Konami is supposedly one of the developers who knows how to get the most out of the cell processor) is not a good sign when you consider they are the developers of MSG4 which in the end may not even be a PS3 exclusive (though I tend to believe that it will not make it onto the 360 but remain only with the PS3).

Publishers always have project that simply don’t work out and have to be canned. It’s only surrising that so many (5) have been canned from Konami all at once.

Wow you mean to tell me that they canceled games such as New Action Game (PS3) and the hotly anticipated New Action Adventure Game 2 (Wii). Wow games get canned all the time and their usually never known to the public. And oh man, you mean I cant experience the ground braking New Role Playing Game (PS3)??? Geez, I need to get that pre-order money back!!!

I saw news on this and its false , Gradius is still being made and New action game 2 for the Wii will be made too . I hope they made Gradius like it use to be (TWO PLAYERS) untill then I wont play it . That makes me pissed because it was one of my favorite games
