Sony Online Entertainment and Sigil Games Online have jointly announced that Vanguard: Saga of Heroes will be released in North America on January 30. It will retail for $50, with a “limited edition” featuring additional content going for $90.

The highly anticipated MMOG features an epic seamless world, limitless customization, 19 different races, 15 professions, an unique combat system and more. It is currently in beta and those wishing to enter it may pre-order the game; they will also receive access to the live servers three days before the official release, as well as receive an exclusive in-game scroll that will allow their characters to sprint for longer periods of time.
