MadCatz Wiimote?

A poster on the GameTrailer’s forum has uploaded some images of what seem to be promotional pictures of a MadCatz Wii controller. Although there as of yet, has not been an official press release the images look pretty convincing. The poster claims he is an employee at Wal-Mart and that this promotional picture came with a shipment of Wii accessories from MadCatz.

Considering the shortages of the official remote and the nun-chuck attachment, this would not come as a surprise to many. The shape of the unit however looks very odd, especially when compared to the original one. More pictures after the jump.

i had a madcats xbox controller (original xbox), and it sucked, it was so friggin tiny and the buttons were too smooth. i disliked it and gave it to anyone that came over to play, was fun to hear them complain.

So did I monir. I was dissapointed with the quality. Since then I have pretty much avoided 3rd party ones. The shape of this one is a little suggestive as well, it was almost as if they gathered to simply see how phallic it was possible to make a controller.

Either way, it’s good to see that the Wii is getign soe support from third party accessory makers. If Nintendo allows them to make Wiimotes, that is.

.. It looks like it was hit by a car…. and then fell of of a cliff onto fresh tar on another road and the was run over by a semi which blew a tire just as it was on top of it so that the remote stayed underneath the back tire while the trucker fixed the front one. Or that it was made by Microsoft.

As long as it works properly I’m not complaining! Nintendo’s costing you an arm & leg with the prices of their controllers.
