Half Life 2: Orange And Black Box Details
January 17th, 2007 Posted in News
After revealing that the console version of Half Life 2 will be called Orange, IGN managed to find some more details about the package. Half Life 2 Orange will be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and will include the Original Half Life 2, the first two episodes, Team Fortress 2 and Portal. It will retail at $59.99, a pretty sweat deal.
The PC version will be called Half Life 2: Black Box, and will include, as expected, Episode Two, Team Fortress 2 and Portal. It will retail at $39.99, twice the price of Episode One ($20), but you do get TF2 and Portal as well, so overall it’s not a bad deal.

I’m getting the Orange one on my 360. For 60 bucks there’s at least 30-40 hours of gameplay value. I’ll take it from start to finish

I’ll just stick to getting the Black version for the PC … and only when it comes down in a year. I am pretty put off by Valve releasing EP2 so late so I can definitely wait.
