No God Of War 2 Demo For Europe
European gamers are getting shafted once again: no God of War 2 demo for them! Dubbed “one of the last big games for the PS2″, a demo of the game will soon be enjoyed by gamers in North America, whereas gamers across the pond get to hear all about how ‘awesome’ the game is and get even more jealous and angrier than they usually are when it comes to games.
Cory Barlog, director of the highly anticipated sequel, stated this in a post on his blog, citing ‘time constraints’ as the reason behind the absence of the PAL demo.
“For the people who are hoping for a PAL demo, I am really, really sorry but with the time frame we have in front of us there just is not enough time to get both a PAL and NTSC demo done. I would love to do that, but I really want to ship this game on time.”
Europeans will be able to get their sweaty hands on God of War 2 this April. North Americans get it next month.

This game is bannanas! I’ll definately have a copy of this game running on my PS2 when it comes out.

Demos voa CDs/DVDs is the past, downloading is the future. GoW 2 should have been made for the PS3 in the first place.

It certainly would have guaranteed that more PS3s would be in gamers households Period. I still cannot believe that it isn’t a PS3 launch title. Oh well at least I can get a used PS2 for cheap these days so I can play this game. As much I hate to buy yet another PS2 I must play this game … Kratos absolutely rules!

Well the game will be awesome and I will for sure have it running on my PS3. Played over 50 PS2 games without so much as a glitch. FFXII is an absolute masterpiece, pulling down 9.5 all day.
I never got a chance to play MGS3. Kojima at his finest is never hard to find as fantastic. So God of War 2 is going to have me tweaked in for awhile. GoWar is the bomb. Next I want Ratchet and Clank for dastardly good fun and laughs. Going to be one of the most entertaining games ever!

They plan on it! But GoWar 2 I want the disk. But yeah PS2 games will have demo downloads and some full games to buy.
GoW 2 looks like an incredible beyond orginal God of War which had massive awards including game of the year overall including PC!

Well you could rent it! This game is a must have and no doubt it will be up for another bunch of Awards. Really nothing like it on any other platform. Interesting that now 6 years after the PS2 launch they can do as much as they do will this console. It seems to me playing the games meant for PS2 on PS3 that this platform will not die anytime soon. It’s easy to see why with the incredible game lineup.
God of War is the absolute King of action adventure on any platform. No game lets you vent in such bloody good fashion! Been looking forward to this one since finishing the first. And the Devs say it’s BETTER??? Oh MY God!
