Company Of Heroes To Support DirectX 10

THQ’s already stunning looking strategy game Company of Heroes will look even better in a few months, when a DirectX 10 patch will be released. It will support DX10 hardware and will be able to render the graphics faster than the DX9 version, besides the obvious fact that it will look better. Naturally, you’ll need Windows Vista and a graphics card that supports DX10, currently only Nvidia’s 8800 series will do the job.

I don’t have a dx10 card, but I will soon. Can’t wait to see a list of more games that will support it.

Another game I won’t be able to play because Vista is too expensive for a shoddy operating system. Looks like it’s strictly console gaming for me.

I’ll need more than CoH DX10 patch to convince me of investing in a DX10 card and VIsta. Nothing else than Crysis is going to persuade me. And that game won’t be out untill August, at the earliest.
