Fallout 3 Coming To Xbox 360?

According to gamenews.org, in the Feb. 15 issue of the Official Xbox Magazine (UK), Bethesda producer Tim Howard will apparently reveal new details about game, which has been in development since 2004. Howard was the producer of the original Fallout, Morrorwind, and the very recent Oblivion. Fallout 3 will use the same engine as Oblivion (called Gamebryo), which naturally will make it easy to release the game on the Xbox 360. Howard says:
“We started work (on Fallout 3) in late 2004 with a few people. We only had about 10 people on it until Oblivion wrapped, but most of our staff is on it now. We have pretty long preproduction phases on our stuff, doing concepts, design, building prototypes, and such. We should be ready soon to show it off, but we’ll see.”
We’ll have to wait till February 18 to see if these rumors are true, but don’t be surprised if there is a ton of new (official) Fallout 3 information in the upcoming weeks. There’s still no news of Interplay’s Fallout MMO, which was revealed last month.

Of course it’s coming to the XBox 360. The Oblivion engine would be amazing in a post-apocalyptic setting, with some new improvements and optimization, it ould even rival UE3.

Cant wait. I’ve had some of my best gaming experiences with Fallout 1 & 2. I cant imagine them screwing it up, it’s a pretty solid team working on the game afterall.

I just heard Fall Out 3 is coming to PS3, didn’t hear anything about X360! It’s all over the PS3 forums about this. Maybe there’s a mistake or I guess it’s just getting to be tuffer to make any money on game these days.
Oh well from what it sounded like it was going be on PS3 first. Which it probably will be, no doubt. Kaz is out spending money at this very moment, I think.

Tim Howard was not the producer of the original Fallout. Feargus Urquhart was. Tim Howard had nothing to do with any Fallout game before Bethesda acquired the rights to make future Fallout games.
