Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition For PSP
In the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly, Square Enix announced plans of releasing the original Final Fantasy and its sequel for the PSP to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the revered series. Dubbed Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition and Final Fantasy II Anniversary Edition, the games will be released individually and will feature all their elements that made its way to the previous GBA and PlayStation ports, including new opening movies and new dungeons from the GBA version; there will also be a music player mode and monster gallery.
However, Square Enix is saying that these are not ports. Even though the games will follow the same style of their predecessors, the developer has remade all the sprites and backgrounds for the portable’s native resolution, including new effects for battles.

Still ony ports and portrable sequels coming to the PSP. Besides LocoRoco, can you pick another original IP that was released on the PSP?

FF sucks ass, antiquated gameplay wrapped up in a graphical disguise… goto character A, ask stupid question, tells you to ask question C from character D, oh a fight, hit it for 10, it uses lightning spell, hits you for 100… Zzzz… Jesus it was the same gameplay for Ultima 1!

If the cut scenes look as gorgeous as the ones in Valkerie-Profile Lenneth i cant freaking wait, graphics always matter it adds so much to the amazing experience.

STFU tidles and the rest of you freaking know-it=all morons! Don’t know the game or don’t know what your even talking about. Saying sh*t you know nothing about, just repeating what you heard from some cr*phole. Any Final Fantasy done by Square Enix is what RPG’s are all about. That’s why they’re always rated high and sell more. Always the same f**king creeps in here low rating Sony products and game developers in general. That have never even owned them or really even played them. Your words belong in trashbin or toilet.

Right this minute I am playing FFXII!!! Whole new combat system (ADB) in an incredibly rich world of game play where you absolutely know you’re getting your money’s worth (unlike most games today, re: Gears)! Graphics are massive and instead of feeliing like you’re playing a game, feel more like you’re in a major movie. Even with it being last gen PS2 game it is incredibly well done. Fifty hours and I’m not even close to done. But it’s the kind of game you can savor a day at a time as have all the Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest RPG’s that have been done.
It didn’t get all 10’s in Japan and 9.5+’s here for nothing. Do any of the you *sswipes know the history of Final Fantasy? Do any of you know what Anniversary this even is?
FFXII is only the 6th game in history to get a perfect 40 out of 40 in Famitsu!!! As well as the first Final Fantasy and PS2 game to do so! That’s out of over 12,000 titles for that console alone!!!
You want to see a list of awards go to Wikipedia for the huge list of Awards this game alone has received. Buy a PSP to see how easy it is to get hooked on it. If you haven’t tried this Anniversary title, then go comment on your Wiisnot games or Xbot titles that will never be missed or ever heard of again!!!
