Guy Loses Nine Punds From Wii Sports
Reuters reports of Mickey DeLorenzo, who is now nine pounds lighter having played the Wii 30 minutes a day for six weeks. Apparently, the 25-year old came up with the idea after he and his fiancĂ©e ended up tired after their session in Wii Sports. As per the report, he ate as usual and didn’t hold himself back during the holidays. Here’s a bit:
“Seeing the ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures, I am going to keep doing it. I am going to add some weights to the next round because I don’t want to shrink to nothing,” said DeLorenzo, who said he had never before dieted or worked out to lose weight.
It doesn’t stop there though, as DeLorenzo has been asked by fitness clubs to setup Wii workouts, and he just started an experiment on NBC News, check out the video after the jump.

30 minutes a day, that doesn’t seem like much for a gamer, if i played the WII for as long as i do playstation a day I would look like rambo in a week!

Someone had to make the loosing pounds joke. In fairness it could equally be made about the cost of AA batteries for the Wii Mote
