Saints Row Coming To PS3
February 1st, 2007 by Matt Stone in News
THQ has confirmed that Saints Row is coming to the PlayStation 3 later this spring. It will include online multiplayer support using the PlayStation Network. Saints Row was released on the Xbox 360 last year, and while it may not have been a GTA killer, it offered many hours of entertaining gameplay. It’s certainly something that will keep PS3 owners busy until GTA 4 arrives.

Well it proves one thing, we now have a tie in lost exclusives between X360 and PS3. How many more exclusives will X360 lose to the PS3? Bio Shock? Mass Effect? What next Halo 3???
How about straight up game losses to PS3 with two big ones defecting to solely to PS3 recently. Especially “War Devil”! A very 1080P-ish X360 can’t run natively!
Plus stay tuned for more exciting losses to come. Many rumours with many truths are keeping us waiting!
Oh and yeah Josh! Resistance played co-op in Super Human makes Gears look like a cake walk in God Mode! Some real bad-ass AI in that game! If you don’t use tactical team work, YOU BE DEAD! That’s if you can even make it 70% through the game. AI to AI, Resistance wins hands down! Must play both to realise this!

Perhaps, dear fan-boys, the PS3 is getting all these 360 exclusive games not because it is so superior, but so that it has more games, therefore more reasons, to buy it?

No Evander, it’s because they can be played on both platforms with few problems in transfer. Because they are both PPC based chips. Plus the fact that Xbox 360 is cracked and games are being pirated. So developers like more customers anyway, with a secure platform where they can make even more money. Just business! They should just make all games cross platform and lower the price for all of us! Then Josh can sell one of his consoles!
I get along fine with my friends from all three platforms, just wish it was that way on the internet! I’ve never seen so much hate in my life. Definitely not competition that does that!
Oh yea, Josh I don’t have an X360 anymore (Error 71), But since Gears is on the short side, only took a few days for me to beat it at a friends. The way Gears works is you have two choices to start off with. Casual and Hard Core mode! Then when you beat it, it unlocks “Insane” mode. Yes it is just that INSANE! Co-OP is much more fun on both of them! Just takes longer on Restance than on Gears, because it’s more of a story line driven game. The ending on both of them lets you know that sequels will be on the way.
Online I much prefer Resistance, especially on 40 person maps which are Massive if you haven’t been in one. The vehicles are better in Resistance as well as all freaky weapons. Online in Gears with Live, right now is a pain in the butt. Too many people and their servers are laggy. Most games on Live run pretty good, so prolly just too popular right now. That’s what’s so incredible about Resistance is there is absolutely NO LAG! Graphics? Well Resistance is pretty good, but Gears on X360 with Unreal Engine 3 is incredible to look at I will admit. I expect UT3 to be even better though on PS3.
I still suggest that you co-op play both of these games to get to know them better for single player. Get a neighbor, anybody to play with you, even if they can’t shoot. Co-op give you a second chance and goes much quicker when there is a second life in a friend for the monsters in both to kill!
