Microtransactions Gone Wild In Japan

Forget about EA’s continuous attempts to rip-off Xbox 360 users, the Japanese publisher behind Aquazone has released, or rather unlocked, parts of the game for 5,000 Microsoft Points, or $60. That’s more than the game costs itself, and the “downloads” are only 100 KB, meaning it’s just a key to unlock content that’s already there. And what are they selling for 5,000 MS points? 18 new fish for the game.

Paying extra for what should already be in the game is stupid..

The most retarded part is that this is all fine and dandy with Microsoft. Same with EA and their ripping off of Xbox Live users…

LOL, this is kind of like Communism, in theory it’s OK, in practise it gets botched up.
