Killzone 2 Demo Rumors

February 7th, 2007 Posted in News by Gibran Nawaz

killzone.jpgKillzone was originally released for the PS2 as a Halo-killer, but was never good as expected. The sequel, however, is trying really hard to compete with Halo 3 with amazing graphics and a near unbelievable “real-time” trailer at E3 ‘06. 1UP’s Luke Smith posted on his blog that Killzone 2 has been playable online for almost a year. Not only that, but a demo will be available before the Halo 3 beta. This would make sense since Sony’s Phil Harrison is presenting his keynote at the Game Developer’s Conference, rumored to reveal “big news”. If Killzone 2 doesn’t match the E3 2005 demo, it’ll certainty be a disappointment, since Harrison himself bragged about the game looking better than the E3 demo. Hard to believe at this point, but we’ll see if there’s any truth in 1UP’s rumors soon.
