Killzone 2 Demo Rumors
February 7th, 2007 by Gibran Nawaz in News
Killzone was originally released for the PS2 as a Halo-killer, but was never good as expected. The sequel, however, is trying really hard to compete with Halo 3 with amazing graphics and a near unbelievable “real-time” trailer at E3 ‘06. 1UP’s Luke Smith posted on his blog that Killzone 2 has been playable online for almost a year. Not only that, but a demo will be available before the Halo 3 beta. This would make sense since Sony’s Phil Harrison is presenting his keynote at the Game Developer’s Conference, rumored to reveal “big news”. If Killzone 2 doesn’t match the E3 2005 demo, it’ll certainty be a disappointment, since Harrison himself bragged about the game looking better than the E3 demo. Hard to believe at this point, but we’ll see if there’s any truth in 1UP’s rumors soon.

he didnt say “look as good as the trailer” he said some elements of the trailer exceed it, I dont want another person slightly altering a statement, only to write an article later about how they “lied” about it and have fanboys so happy to gloat and bash people and make comparison images in photoshop with quotes that werent even correctly said. that aside, if it even looks anywhere close as good as the trailer itll be a system seller.
