Metal Gear Movie Confirmed

At E3 2006, it was announced that a live-action Metal Gear Solid film would be made. Now, it has been confirmed that Sony Pictures is working on the movie. The producers are working with Kojima Productions, so the authenticity of the game will not be lost. Vice chairman Yair Landau has said that they will try their best to capture Snake’s storyline, although it is unknown which game the adaptation will be based on.
In addition to this, there is talk of an EverQuest movie to go into production. There have been a slew of video game title movies in the makes recently, including World of Warcraft, Resident Evil, and of course, Halo.
