BioWare’s sci-fi action RPG, Mass Effect, has been receiving some great feedback from the Xbox 360 community. As a treat, Microsoft Game Studios has been rolling out many screen shots to keep fans hyped about the game. So far, the title is visually stunning, but anything is stunning with the Unreal Engine 3. More screenshots after the jump.

It’s good to see that all games with the unreal engine 3 don’t look the same. Mass Effect looks clean and sharp in comparison to Gears and Unreal 3, which look very similar.

Couldn’t agree more Zac, the lighting, art & texture are to “blame” ;P for that… 1st game from the 360 that really seems great, unlike Gears… if it plays well, this could be a big strong nail in the PS3 coffin, too bad it’s coming on a Microsoft console…

  3. Quartecks Says:

One thing that always kills a game for me, no matter what the graphical greatness is, is the fact that it responds predictably. Motor storm for example, it looks really good, but it plays like every other race game. I was literally only impressed for about half a minute, but it just felt too much like a game to be believable. That’s why you have to tread carefully when looking at games like these.

This game looks amazing … can’t wait to get it for my 360. Those screenshots are just so cool and show off the power of the UE3 in an entirely different way.

Those pics are might even be comparable to that red PS3…
