We all know that the Wii, coupled with Wii Sports, provides a good workout, heck, someone even started a business based on Wii workouts. Now an inventor has come up with a pair of “Wii weights” that you strap on to your wrists to get a better workout while swinging in Wii Sports tennis. The plan is to release the product in 1 lbs and 4 lbs versions, but it’s still only a prototype, as investors are needed to bring it to the market.

WTF, this is no f*cking invetnion! My grandad in Norway had weight like these and has had them proably for decades! here’s how they compare:

    My Grandad’s Weihts:
    Blue, or purple
Two pairs, one for the wrists and one for the ankles
The weight was made of a four to five chambers of sand or something.
There were two starpes the would reach from one end to the othere where they were attached using a metal thing and lycra, stiched the the strap’s sides.

these could be used as either a passive exercise, just normal activities with the extra weight; or to enhance regular exrecise.

    the WII Weight
    white colour
it says “WII weights” on it
It onlu has one short strap (insufficient)
everything else is exactly the same!!!

Someone should sue these bastard frauds and give me some money!

I’ll try so send the pic soon, when i go to Norway

I think they are pretty cool and if you’re going to be playing anyway why not use the weights to make it even more worth your while?

I know it wouldn’t hurt my chubby ass to use them! lol
