When it became apparent that some of the downloadable content from the Xbox 360 version of the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion would not be available on the PS3, fans of the extra downloads were disappointed. It now transpires that it is due to a memory limitation with the PS3 itself, meaning that Bethesda could not get all the data in and still make the game work decently. It also seems that it will no longer be the case that the PS3 version is more powerful, as the shading techniques will start to be implemented on the Xbox 360 version as well.
Pete Hines, VP of marketing at Bethesda, also stated that although they want to release the game to as many potential customers, they just simply will not be releasing on the Wii, simply because the system isn’t powerful enough.

1It’s true, the PS3 has a really bad memory bandwidth, the XBox 360 humps it in all directions. It’s a shame. The PS3 was overhyped by Sony that it could probably cure world hunger, or something similar.. When in actual fact, the console isn’t that great, apart from it’s Blu-Ray playback capabilities.

2yeah i know…sad
i started a post about it on gametrailers and was flamed by cunts of the sony fan club. PPL have to realize consoles like the ps3 and xbox 360 they compete are the fricking same. They suprb in 1 spot and the other in another spot. Like the xbox has better ram where the ps3 has a better processor.
But neither are real weak but the 360 does have alittle advantage with double the ram. This is why i went pc cuz u just upgrade and have better online play. Steal games, and always have mods and finally play in better resolutions.

7Duh…. Gekko? You don’t realise that Jack said that on Jan 5 2007! And he explained that if someone could bring him one at that time not over a month later, MORON!
This statement still can’t be taken as official. And you all forget PS3 gets the Expansion for free. This like most news from X360 fans has been severely twisted and this game is bound to run better than the 360 version. PS3 pwns the X360 and over the coming months you’ll see why! Losers!
