oblivion1.jpgWhen it became apparent that some of the downloadable content from the Xbox 360 version of the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion would not be available on the PS3, fans of the extra downloads were disappointed. It now transpires that it is due to a memory limitation with the PS3 itself, meaning that Bethesda could not get all the data in and still make the game work decently. It also seems that it will no longer be the case that the PS3 version is more powerful, as the shading techniques will start to be implemented on the Xbox 360 version as well.

Pete Hines, VP of marketing at Bethesda, also stated that although they want to release the game to as many potential customers, they just simply will not be releasing on the Wii, simply because the system isn’t powerful enough.
