eve.jpgEVE Online, the award winning MMO from Icelandic developer CCP Games is hit by a cheating scandal, where the developers misused their position to create “blueprints” for an alliance of players. In short, basic corruption. A developer has confessed on the official EVE developer blog, stating that cheating was in fact going on, and assured the community he was the only one involved. EVE Online is a sci-fi MMO released in 2003, followed by several expansion packs. The game currently has over 200,000 active players.

The accusation, and the confession.
