Halo 3 To Silence The Morons
February 13th, 2007 Posted in Action, E3, Multiplayer, Online, Xbox 360

If you’re playing on Xbox Live, you have undoubtedly come across at least a few idiots who scream all sorts of non-sense and insults to other players. While Xbox Live already has an option to mute that redneck guy who can’t shut up while playing Gears of War (you know there’s always one of those in every game), you have to go through a mess of options in order to actually mute the player. Bungie will make this easy in Halo 3, simply by pressing the “Back” button to display a list of players, and muting them with the right-stick. This sort of feature should be standard in any Xbox 360 multiplayer game.

Back to the topic: Yes, this is much needed, the biggest complaint I got against Xbox Live is that mutin is so damn difficult in the first place, there no time to mute.

It’ shouldn’t be that big of a deal. I don’t know how Nintendo managed to botch it up with friend codes.
