Quake Wars Coming To Xbox 360, PS3

PC gamers have lost another platform exclusive, as Activision announced that Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Xbox 360 version will be ported by Nerve Software, who worked on Doom 3 for the Xbox, while the PS3 version will be done by Z-Axis, the developers behind last year’s X-Men: The Official Game.
But PC owners of the game will still have a few advantages here and there, most noticeably 24-player support compared to only 16 players on the console versions. Activision also confirmed that the game was still slated for a Q2 2007 release.

I am certain no one is surprised by this news. Good. Now everyone will get to play this much anticipated game which is always a good thing. Activision and EA share the same model of putting their games on as many platforms as possible to minimize financial loss. I was just reading about that on their website.

Quake Wars is a sort BF2 with human vs. strogg. It looks better, although it’s only 24 players, as opposed to 64 in BF2. There are other differences as well but it’s kinda hard to name them all. Just Google it
