Okami Devs Working On RE5
February 21st, 2007 by Gibran Nawaz in Action, Business, PlayStation 3, Xbox360
Since Capcom subsidary Clover, developers of the award winning Okami game, was dissolved, most of the developers and artists were fired. However, three of the main developers are coming to work with Capcom on the survival action game Resident Evil 5. This could either be a good or bad thing, seeing as Clover has some very unique game designs with games like Okami and God Hand. It may be a little farfetched, but maybe a cel-shaded zombie wouldn’t be so bad?

Or maybe Capcom just needed some help? A few code slaves to do the dirty work. I can imagine how the Clover guys must have been stripped of their creative freedom at this point.

So Capcom cant make great artwork by themselves, I guess they will just get someone who is better then them at it to do it for them
