January Software Sales

Here are the official software sales data for the month of January in the United States. It is nice to see a Gamecube game on the list, seeing as the console seems to be nearly abandoned by now. New Super Mario Bros. is also still on the list even after many months. But no game could even come close to the sales of the futuristic third person shooter Lost Planet.

Interesting to see that a 360 game is going so well in Japan.

They ain’t doing well in Japan, this is USA Zac. But it’s interesting to see that Zelda:TP Wii and Gamecube sales combined would put the game on a #2 spot on the list.

The numbers are never going to be exactly the same, but I think the positions are more or less right.

Yeah true. Then again, is xbox can do it, and if the Wii continues to sell at the rate that it has been..
