Cheaper Euro PS3 Games

With all the bad reputation Sony has been getting, it would only be wise to do something about it. The European Playstation 3’s price of £425 has hurt a lot of sales already, and the backward compatibility downgrade has made a lot of people frustrated. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that all of their first party launch titles will be for £39.99, which is £10.00 less than than that of the Xbox 360’s. This will definitely help sales, but I don’t think it compensates for all the crap Sony has put their fans through.

Yer but who pays 49.99 for a xbox 360 game anyway ?? most are prices at 39.99 already when they first come out, and if you are a bit savvy you can pick up xbox 360 games for as little as 25 quid.. this is what i paid for GOW on release date .. Hey nothing against Sony i like the company, but come on sony give your loyal fans something REAL to be happy about !! how about lowering the cost on the six axis controller for a start ??

gaitor_uk I agree lowing the price of the controllers on any of the consoles would be nice. I also agree smart shoppers know how to get a good price on there games no matter what the “suggested retail price” is.

The PS3 is a powerhouse, and the games looks stunning. Dont get me wrong, I’ve never dished the PS3. But I will never get one myself, at least not with that pricetag
