Worms Crawl into Xbox Live Arcade

Microsoft today announced that Team17’s turn-based strategy game Worms will be available to download at 1 a.m. PST on Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday, March 7, for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

“Worms is one of the ‘richer’ XBLA experiences in that it’ll provide hours and hours of repeat play through it’s on and offline multiplayer modes.”

This Xbox 360 version of Worms comes with many fancy features, including four-person multiplayer action over Xbox Live or locally, twenty-two weapons and utilities to deploy against your enemies, many customizable elements, including worms and team names, what they say, and which gravestone they have when they die, high-definition visuals and tons of graphical improvements throughout the game, twelve achievements, weekly, monthly and overall leader boards, and many more.
