Apparently, this was an unreleased video from X06 that never got to see the light of day. Melissa Miller, content producer, narrates the video. It’s hard to believe how stunning BioShock looks.

1This game is looking seriously cool. It is definitely the most interesting single player game FPS game I have seen in a long time and the graphics are hot. I hope the controls are intuituve on the console and not hard to use because killing that Big Daddy is no easy task.

2that looked really cool, kinda scaty and confusing too. i thought the bit where the bear had to be lit on fire to light the boss or whatever was stupid, also the girl sounded quite hot.

3monir: They didn’t have to light the bear on fire to kill the “boss”. It’s not a boss, it’s just a character in the game, it’s the protector of that little girl, and the lighting of the bear was just an option, there’s heaps of stuff you the player could have done in the situation.
This game looks amazing.

4The graphics are good, but the best part of this game is that your interaction with everything you come in contact with is amazing. All Game play is trully awesome!!! Hoping it comes to PS3!

6god so many newbs in this market. the game will be dx9 and dx10. all dx10 games that are released for the next year or so will be dx10 and dx9. No company will ever make only dx10 games with most of the population will dx9 cards.

8No monir it’s not a DX10! DX10 is not going to have many games out for a long time. OpenGL already supports more features and doesn’t dumb down the really good stuff companies like Nvidia and ATI are putting in their cards.
DX10 compatable just means game companies have adhere to M$’s strict control of what features they have and cant’ have in game design. The newest cards will be capable of much more including shaders M$ refuses to support cuz it’s not theirs!
OpenGL is where the future game magic will be begin and end! Along with technologies like DMM (digital moleculear matter), Euphoria and Endorphin. Right now DMM is exclusive to Lucas Arts games, but hope that changes. Monir these will all work on your computer and most other platforms supporting OpenGL DX9 combination API’s!

12Yeah I agree with monir. There’s multiplayer games and there’s single player games. This is a single player game and the single player experience will be better because of the more effort they’ve been able to put in while not writing stuff for multiplayer.
