Third Party Mii Support Looking Grim

Everyone remembers the satisfaction of seeing your own personal Mii featured in Warioware: Smooth Moves. But it looks like third party developers won’t be providing gamers with the same satisfaction. According to Electronic Arts producer Eric Chartrand, third party developers have not been provided the tools to implement Mii characters into their third party titles. Is this a bad move on Nintendo’s part or just an effort to preserve the originality of authentic Nintendo games?
