Bigger XBLA Game Size
March 5th, 2007 by Gibran Nawaz in Business, Online, Xbox360
Originally, the limit of the size of Xbox Live Arcade games were 50MB. This was pretty annoying for people who had the 64MB memory cards on Core Systems for the Xbox 360. Now, all that has changed, as Microsoft has announced that the filesize limit has been tripled to 150MB. There will also be a new 512MB memory card, so Core consumers won’t be left in the dust. Fans will also see an increase in the quality of their games, as there is no limit to content or compression as there was before. Let’s hope the improvements every console keep coming.
