It’s unfortunate to say that a lot of online multiplayer PS2 games have recently been going offline, and Resident Evil: Outbreak is the next victim. Capcom has officially announced today that servers for both files of the game will be permanently shutting down March 31st. You can always play the single player modes, but that’s just not as fun, now is it? It is possible fans may find a technical work-around with user hosted servers, but it’s just not the same.

1Well I mean the online was No different then the off line play. This was an Arcady RE game that I sort of liked (in a way). It would be more kool If the headset was an option with more things to do while online (more is better especially when it comes to Zombies). Well the game was SHORT and Easy. I would like to see a Dead rising RE game with Survival cooperation game play in Raccoon City
