PSP: No Redesign, New Colors

At GDC, John Koller, senior product manager for the PSP, has revealed that there will be no redesigns for the PSP. Instead, Sony plans to regain interest in the system by releasing some new colors in North America. Japan has already seen a number of colors for the system, so it is most probable that the colors will be the same as the ones in Japan.
It will be hard to try to challenge the handheld kings, Nintendo, but it’s worth a try. Monster Hunter Portable 2nd is coming out on the US in September, so maybe we will see an increase of sales sometime soon.

Na, I’m waiting for Vomit Violet and Gorey Green. I think they should “Re-invent” the PSP. I mean I love my PSP and my 3.03oe-c firmware but I think that they should add a second analog stick on the other side of the PSP and the L2 and R2 buttons. Just adding a different color is not really going to do anything… well for me that is. Look at the GBA and the DS they both got 2 different versions and they Still both Sell. All sony needs to do is listen to the players, make the adjustments accordingly and Boom you got another instant hit. If they came out with a different PSP with more hardware features I would prolly get it

Some great titles coming out on PSP! New Ratchet and Clank and Sony plans to bring “Home” to both PSP and Sony Erikson Cell Phones! I have a PSP and a DSLite and I use the PSP much more now that I also have a PS3 to hook up to with Wifi!
Somewhere along the line here I expect more people will be doing the same thing. I like the DSLite when I first got it more than the PSP the Quality of games is just not there. Plus I’ve become a solid “Ratchet and Clank” fan and am looking forward to many of the titles coming out for the PSP!
Although I do agree with ZaVaZ about the second analog stick!!!!

New colors are nice, but what about new patterns? Wouldn’t the people in Scotland appreciate plaid? Or how about flags, that would probably sell good, have a PSP colored like your country’s flag.
