Spielberg Game for Wii

March 9th, 2007 Posted in Business, Nintendo DS, Portable, Wii

Neil Young of Electronic Arts, in an interview, had some interesting things to say about Speilberg’s three video game projects through EA. The first of which was that two of the games are currently in development, the first being an intimate story from Speilberg. No word on a console, but that might be something you could expect to be cross platform, at least between PS3 and 360. The second tidbit was a little more specific when he said,

“The second project is something Lou Castle is producing, one of the great producers in this industry, and that’s one of the products we’re building for the Wii. Very exciting and interesting…”

Exciting and interesting indeed. This goes with reports from early February that EA would be greatly increasing the game development and production for the Wii and DS, hoping to be the number two developer next to Nintendo themselves. Given the people behind this project, this will be an exclusive to watch for, and another third party exclusive the Wii sorely needs.

Now you’re removing mine (and others’) comments because we point out the errors? This certainly never happened before…

Oh, and BTW; “Speilberg” is still spelled wrong in the article. I guess you’ll delete these comments now as well.

Alex, we have fixed that title long before you have posted that comment. Also, a lot of the old crew is still around. I, myself, am an original member of the crew.

Anuban, I am simply deleting the comments because I understand that there is a problem with the article and I had fixed it, therefore there is no need for the off-topic comments.
