Nintendo of America has confirmed on their official website that the first true online Wii title will be Battalion Wars 2. Nintendo is pretty late for entering into the online scene, as Xbox 360 has had online gameplay for a very long time, the PS3 has online capabilities since day one. Japan already has had Pokemon Battle Revolution since last year, but we won’t be seeing a state side release until June. Battalion Wars 2 will be out some time this year.

1They botched up online, I don’t think that all the titles being online would make up for it.

2Battalion Wars looks very kool. I’m glad that it’s going to be online, and if it turns out to be a good game, I’m definatly getting it, along with SSB:B Which will also be online.
We’ll see Quartecks.
