It appears that the flagship downloadable title on the PS3, FlOw, was nearly a Wii game. When speaking at GDC, Kellee Santiago said,
“That was the hardest decision we ever had to make, choosing between Sony and Nintendo.
This wasn’t to say Nintendo did anything wrong, Sony just came to the table with a better offer that allowed the company to develop the product. Kellee Santiago said they are definitely still interested in making Wii titles in the future.
The interesting thing to be gleaned from this news is what kind of form the title would have appeared on the Wii. Obviously it is neither a full fledged retail game, or a virtual console game, so could that mean that Nintendo could already be well into the development stages with their original downloadable content?
