Redesigned PSP Coming Later This Year

March 12th, 2007 Posted in Articles, PSP, Portable, Rumor by Rajiv Ashrafi

psp2.jpgContradicting our previous report, Kotaku is saying that a redesigned PSP is in the works and may be out later this year. They quote “various third party and high placed sources” as stating that Sony might make the official announcement at E3 this year; it was also stated that third party publishers are hoping to tie their games in to the PSP2 launch. They’ve also got a nice bullet point list of expected features, which includes faster loading time, improved buttons, 8GB internal flash, among other functions.

Before you begin saving money for the redesigned portable, keep in mind that these are rumors and may very well not be true. But Kotaku has never disappointed before…
