Diamond & Pearl to Support VoIP

Just imagine yelling “Pikachu, I choose you!” on a microphone while battling someone on the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Well, that is what you’ll be doing if you purchase the game.

Nintendo has announced that the upcoming RPG Pokemon Diamond & Pearl will have voice communication in the game. The feature only works with people on your buddy list, so the annoyance of hearing a random kid yelling for chocolate milk won’t be any problem. You don’t need a seperate microphone either, the one built into your system works just as well as the optional headset.
