New Etrian Odyssey Screens

Etrian Odyssey, formerly known as Yggdrasil Labyrinth, is heading to the States in the first quarter of this year. Atlus has released a few screens, and the game is looking quite nice. All the screens after the jump.

Looks like an 80s Atari ST game… Zzzzz!

A BAD 80’s game! Plus the manga graphics are so generic, it looks like 1 of a million samey manga games out there.

    Huh? It looks great.

80’s? Are you sure what 80’s stuff looks like?

tidles if you are refering to Dungeonmaster that was an excellent game and you have no clue what you are talking about. This is actually also an excellent game and is a bit similar to Dungeonmaster, i highly recommend it.
The graphics(or art rather) is great but there isint much animation(doesn’t need it imo), what it does have is lots of style, great game mechanics, great character classes/skills etc and has that very addictive “oh no its 4am” feel to it.
