Sony Promotes Nintendo

March 21st, 2007 Posted in Nintendo DS, Offbeat, PlayStation 2 by Gibran Nawaz

The irony must be killing you. DSFanboy had ordered Soul Calibur III from Sony’s online shop, only to find an insert-ad that had promoted a certain game. What game was it? Spectrobes, of course. It’s the Action RPG game from Disney Interactive Studios… for the Nintendo DS. Soul Calibur is a franchise published only by Namco. There is absolutely no relation between the two games. On closer inspection of the fine print, no copyrights can be found on Sony’s behalf. I think the term “logic” is now an enigma.
