More Rockband Details

A few lingering questions about Rockband have cleared their way up. The first of which was whether or not the Guitar Hero guitars would be compatible with the game, or if we’d be dropping some cash for more peripheral devices. Jason Booth told 1up that they will, in fact, work with Rockband. The only catch is currently there is no device on the PS3, so something would have to change to make it compatible. The only candidate as is will be the 360.
The other candidate of course is the Wii, which should be receiving its rendition of the original game sometime in the future. The game was not announced for the Wii console, but when IGN asked Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos, he responded that “absolutely” one would be on the way.
