Goodbye 20GB

Best Buy isn’t the only retailer fed up with the PS3 20GB model, it seems the SOny Style stores have stopped stocking the product as well. Joystiq asked some local retailers about the missing item from stores and websites, and the response was pretty much the same across the board. They haven’t had any 20GB models for a long time, and they aren’t expecting anymore. The model hasn’t been discontinued officially, but it seems like they are simply choosing to phase it out. Not too long ago, some company officials said the mix of units was about 80% for the 60GB unit and 20% for the 20GB, but now that even Sony’s stores are no longer stocking the unit, we can let the 20GB models die peacefully into obscurity.
