Nintendo’s Disc Replacement Plan

April 8th, 2007 Posted in Wii

Just like Microsoft did, Nintendo has now taken the approach to replace faulty game discs. But not for the same reasons. Your disc doesn’t have to be scratched; it just has to be glitched. Although, there is no official press release regarding it, it is supposedly new, so you would need to directly call them at their hotline. You write a statement saying why your game is buggy and include your game disc, and you will receive a replacement disc sometime soon. It won’t cost you a thing either, just pay for the outgoing stamp.

    Good move by Nintendo.

It would be nice of them though to replace movies but they would probably lose money. Although by the time you might need to get a replacement it could be in the $5 bin.
