Gears of War Update Adds New Game Mode
In an update released today, a new game mode was added to Gears of War. Here’s the deal:
In Annex, gamers seize victory by keeping control over key map locations, or objectives, long enough to collect a winning number of points. Every map contains two to five identified objectives available for capture, with one objective active at a time. Objectives are based on map weapon-spawn locations and have a potential value of 60 points toward either team’s score. Teams collect those points by maintaining ownership of an objective until all 60 points have been distributed. Every second that a team controls an objective, the team gets one point. When an objective falls to zero points, the next objective is selected at random.
Besides adding the new game mode, the update also added VGA cable support; enhanced the kill message ticker; adjusted assassination multiplayer, Boomshot, Hammer of Dawn and Roadie Run; and addressed general issues.

What sucks is that they got rid of all the glitches, they shouldnt have gotten rid of the weapon slide glitch, I dont really care about the other ones.

The changes to the roadie run make it easier to stick to stuff.

They added new problems and made the game more laggy. Also, we can still chainsaw glitch and weapon slide and such. They didn’t fix too much.

Guys Guys, why any of you want to keep these gliches are beond me, and one of u sed its laggy? tht just stupid u have a crap connection dummass. Gears of war is a great game when played right you guys are clearly noobs who have to use gliches to win games, bit sad eh?
