Rumor: Guitar Hero 3 Coming this Fall

Red Octane on their support center where they answer customer concerns, had originally said a version of Guitar Hero 3 for all platforms, including the PS2, would be seeing the light of day this Fall. The answer has since be stripped from the site, but this rumor stands up pretty strongly when it is directly from their own webpage.

Of course it is far from an official announcement, but the interesting information to be gleaned is that a version of the PS2 seems to still be on the way. The Playstation 2 certainly has legs proving that consoles can still far exceed their five year life cycle. Not much other information is currently known about the third version, other than Red Octane will be producing the game instead of Harmonix.
