Halo 3 X-Button Functionality Revealed

Bungie held true to their blog updates for Halo 3 and have now confirmed what the mysterious X button functionality will be. Like what was guessed at, the X button will deploy equipment such as trip mines and the bubble shield. There may also be a third type of equipment that the team has not yet revealed to us. They also clarified that the new equipment would not unbalance the game as they would be extremely rare items. Apparently building huge bubble shield complexes will not be possible with the limited amount. I actually would prefer if there was at least a level or two where you could just fart around with as many bubble shields as you want, or at least a setting to turn it on.

Big X! But they need to start releasing some screenies and promo vids. This is getting as bad as “Killzone” for PS3. Throw out some bait for us!!!

you guys got it all wrong the x button in the center of the controller is used to bring up the guide and if any of you actually have a 360 its common knowledge and you wont find anyone with a 360 that dosent know that. And if you really do have a 360 read the book for christ’s sake.
